This support will allow me to participate in two professional development courses offered by Common Wealth Murals: Designing Murals with Photoshop & Procreate and The Muralist’s Toolkit: Mural Project Planning from Vision to Execution.
As an interdisciplinary artist working at the intersection of art, education, and healing, this opportunity comes at a pivotal moment in my creative journey. These courses will help me expand my technical skills in digital mural design and deepen my capacity to plan and execute large-scale, community-centered public art projects. My practice is rooted in centering joy, wellness, and identity—particularly for Black and Brown communities—and this training will directly support my vision of using public art as a tool for transformation and connection across New England.
I'm grateful to NEFA for investing in artists like me who are committed to creating vibrant, inclusive, and healing public spaces.
