Zeiterion Performing Arts Center

The Z will present Martha Graham Dance Company's Essential Graham and their new work, Echo, a contemporary reflection on the Greek myth of Narcissus and Echo. Choreographed by the Paris-based Andonis Foniadakis, “Echo” premiered March 14 in New York and features an original score by Julien Tarride. Rather than tell the story of Narcissus and Echo, the dance will evoke its essence and explore its relevance to contemporary life. In addition to the mainstage performance, outreach will include a master class and a post-performance talk-back.
