Walker Art Center

The Walker will provide commissioning, residency, and presentation support to choreographer Faye Driscoll for the development of her new dance/performance work, Thank You For Coming: Play. The second part of Driscoll’s vibrant, multidisciplinary Thank You For Coming series, Play focuses on the consumption and fabrication of stories to make our lives cohere. The Walker will provide an additional residency (the first occurred in the Walker’s McGuire Theater in the summer of 2015) for Play in advance of three performances and a multitude of community engagement activities at the Walker in January 2017 as part of our annual Out There festival of performance alternatives.
