Walker Art Center

Multidisciplinary artist and curator Dean Moss and company will perform johnbrown at the Walker Art Center on October 15-17, 2015. The work will be presented in partnership with area-based The Givens Foundation for African American Literature’s “Resistance and Rebellion” conference in fall 2015. Moss will travel to the Walker for a week in advance of the performance week to audition and train five young women of color (15-21) to be part of the final performance work with his company and to conduct residency activities primarily with members of the Twin Cities African American communities.
