The New England Latinx community has been hit hard by the Coronavirus. Teatro ECAS presents Impacto Desproporcionado (Disproportionate Impact), a documentary play based upon interviews conducted with front line health care workers and Latinx essential workers of authentic stories and interpreted by actors. Written and directed by Francis Parra. Partnering with the Latino Policy Institute and Lifespan/ Brown University Medical School/Infectious Diseases, Impacto Desproporcionado will be performed in May 2021 at Teatro ECAS in Spanish, with English translations simulcast supertitles.
