Ragamala Dance Company

Aparna Ramaswamy (Executive Artistic Director, Ragamala Dance Company) will attend a convening of arts presenters on the topic of 'What Constitutes American Dance?' The convening will be held at the Meany Center for Performing Arts in Seattle, WA, February 10th – 11th, and is co-presented by Ragamala, Meany Center, and the National Center for Choreography at The University of Akron.

As part of the convening, Aparna will have the opportunity to connect with multiple presenters, all of whom have expressed strong interest in presenting Ragamala’s NDP-supported work, ‘Fires of Varanasi: Dance of the Eternal Pilgrim.’ Participating presenters will also attend Ragamala’s performance of ‘Fires of Varanasi’ at Meany Center on February 10th.
