Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Theater has cultural and creative community development at the forefront of their values, and provides an ideal entry point for KMDP to access the full range of multigenerational engagement and continue the organizing work initiated through our art. Our offerings will include:
Fruit Platter Party - (multigenerational) - centered around storytelling and speaks to the traditions and values we’ve inherited from our elders.
Community Dance - (multigenerational) - accessible to various levels and physicalities, valuing embodied cultural practices
Youth & Professional Dance - fuses Raw Fruit and New Orleans second line vocabulary of family values and traditions.
