LatinX artists Gabriela Cartagena and Anthony Romero are partnering with Boston Housing Support Station Coalition (BHSSC) and Eastie Mutual Aid to expand their eviction defense work by developing communal programming to provide housing insecure Boston renters with the tools, time, and space necessary to deepen their solidarity with one another through food and storytelling. Through a series of community listening dinners BHSSC invites working class Bostonians to imagine a more equitable neighborhood. The stories will become comic strips which combined will create a multilingual graphic novel. Artists plan to bring some of those comic strips to life size in public spaces around the city and curate a housing justice parade, with the goal of bringing people together to share experiences, educate, and build solidarity around housing justice. https://www.bostonhousingsupportstation.org/
