The Sandglass Theater group will visit Guilford College's Every Campus A Refuge (ECAR) Chapter for a 5-day engagement that includes a series of activities, combining elements of performance, education, and community involvement. One of the key events is a film screening of "Babylon: Journeys of Refugees" at the Bryan Jr. Auditorium in the Frank Family Science Center at Guilford College. The film features five actor/singer/puppeteers who use puppets and moving panoramic scrolls to tell the stories of refugees through original four-part choral songs, exploring the relationships between refugees and their homelands, both lost and new, as well as the conflicts within the countries they flee to.

Following the film screening, attendees will engage in a discussion with the creators of "Babylon: Journeys of Refugees," deepening their understanding of the refugee experience and fostering empathy among participants. In addition, the Sandglass Theater group will visit different classes at Guil
