Eli Pabón will undertake a month of intensive study in Puerto Rico with elder Bomba masters--culture bearers whose lived knowledge is rooted in place. She will attend workshops, participate in Bombazos, and perform at Encuentro de Tambores, a powerful gathering of Bomba practitioners from the island and diaspora.
