Land and Us—Future Ritual is a new piece blending dance, music, storytelling, and installation art co-created by immigrant and refugee artists under the leadership of Dohee Lee. Land and Us explores vital land-human connections in Asian mythology and ancestor practices, the harm caused by disrupting these, and the complex hope of seeking refuge in a new place. Wearable art, music, choreography, and digital projections bring to life a narrative grounded in the five elements of nature.
