The Night Songs concert gives voice to Black poetry through both old and new art songs. A free, family-friendly event, the performance features the works of legendary Black poets. Audience members are invited to experience an in-depth look into the event’s creation through a post concert Q&A with the creative minds behind the music and poetry, and an interactive video montage.

Born out of the desire to foster cultural curiosity, Castle of Our Skins celebrates Black artistry through music. From classrooms to concert halls, Castle of Our Skins invites exploration into Black heritage and culture, spotlighting both unsung and celebrated figures of past and present.
