Public Art Discussion Series: The Business of being an Artist

When

-

Last year, Jim Grace, Executive Director of the Arts and Business Council of Greater Boston, led a workshop focused on the fundamentals of contracts, copyright and negotiation. Based on your feedback, we are going deeper into reviewing specific contracts, budgets, insurance and incorporation.

Become more familiar with contracts and the language of state and private commissions. Gain the ins and outs of insurance from an insurance broker. Get budget advice from a public art studio manager and a public artist. Hear about incorporation from an attourney specializing in intellectual property & internet law.

REFRESHMENTS: Coffee and bagels will be available at 9:30 am. Please bring a bagged lunch.
