Erinn R. King, CFA is the President at Income Research + Management (IR+M) and Vice Chair of the Firm’s Management Committee. As President, Erinn partners closely with the CEO on firm management and strategy execution and oversees the firm’s client service, human capital, legal, enterprise risk, compliance, and finance functions.
Since joining IR+M in 2023, Erinn has held senior leadership roles including Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Head of the Client Team, helping shape the firm’s strategic direction and strengthen client engagement.
Prior to joining IR+M, Erinn was a Managing Director at Payden & Rygel and a founding member of the firm’s Boston office. She led client relations and business development across the East Coast, Bermuda, and Canada and headed the firm’s global insurance practice, working closely with international offices and strategic partners. She also previously worked at Wellington Management Company, LLP and served as Chair of the CFA Society Boston board.
Erinn earned an MBA in Finance at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business and has a BFA and MFA in Dance from the University of Oklahoma. Erinn’s first career was as a professional ballerina, an experience that cultivated the discipline, resilience, and attention to detail she now brings to her leadership approach and long-term strategic decision-making.
Erinn is a board member for the New England Foundation for the Arts, an investment committee member for Camp Harbor View, an advisory board member for the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras, and sits on the UNCF Project ACCLAIM Leadership Council, as well as, the Dean’s Advisory Board for Boston University’s Questrom School of Business.
