The McCarthy Era is an ensemble dance-theater evening-length performance. The project dissects the years affected by McCarthyism (1949—1952). By appropriating reality television, celebrity culture, and social media, the work celebrates and criticizes popular media while creating a surreal and dystopian docu-fiction melodrama.

This is the fantasy of seven bunny rabbits, running away from home and having their lives surveilled. Tune in to find out what happens when these bunnies stop living life and start living fear.

Estimated Artist Fee: $8,500/performance; $42,500/week.
