Rhinoceros Womxn is a call to love for Black Femme individuals in Boston. This project is a full embodiment of the past, present and Future. Inspired by Assata Shakur's poem "Rhinoceros Woman" and the March On Washington it aims to bring people together to honor, celebrate and fight for Black Femme folx. It is time that Black Femme people feel respected and protected by Boston. This project will take the participants on a Radial Self Love journey allowing them to practice mindfulness and be the artwork. They will have the opportunity to center themselves in this space. I will be depicting the participants in my paintings that will be repurposed as amor for them to wear.
