Canterbury Shaker Village

Canterbury Shaker Village’s August 29, 2021 Concerts on the Green series performance will feature a workshop and concert from modern American troubadour, Lara Herscovitch. Lara writes masterful contemporary folk music, sings and leads with integrity, humor, and heart. The wisdom in Lara’s work is centered in her decades of activism focused on education, community development, environmental protection, and justice system reform - all concepts central to the Shaker ethos. Lara’s performance at the Village will include a workshop for young adults (Wingspan: Creative Confidence and Courage) followed by a concert for all ages.
