7 Stages

Sean Dorsey Dance will engage in a week long residency at 7 Stages in February 2016. The residency will include at least four public performances of The Missing Generation, a new performance developed in part during their most recent residency in Atlanta in May 2014. Outreach activities include an Art of Activism Panel discussion, workshops for emerging and professional artists led by the company's teaching artists, and post show discussions. The Missing Generation is a new full-length dance-theater work that explores the contemporary impact of the loss of part of an entire generation of gay and transgender people to AIDS in the 1980s and 1990s.
