CreativeStudy

NEFA is excited to offer New England artists free access to  CreativeStudy  (formerly known as Art World Learning) , a growing, online video library created to help artists, designers, and cultural producers navigate the business of creative careers. CreativeStudy’s mission is to provide an inclusive platform where a diverse group of artists, freelancers, and arts professionals learn tangible skills, are directed to relevant resources, explore options for sustainability at all stages in their careers, and feel the support of a diverse community. CreativeStudy explains the ecosystems of funding, finance, and business in a way that’s approachable, nonjudgmental, and applicable to creatives and freelancers who often find themselves torn between doing their work and tending to administrative details.

Enroll for free to access the self-paced video lessons and worksheets that cover everything from debt to freelance finance to healthcare to “artist” visas to IP and licensing to contract terms. Every instructor is an expert in their field and committed to the empowerment of our creative community. You can learn more about CreativeStudy by watching this trailer.

NEFA is offering this resource to artists who reside full-time and make work in one of the six New England states (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont).

Enrolled artists will have access to the Creative Study  resources through December 31, 2022.
