Grant or Program
Creative City Boston - Artist Grant
Grant Amount
$10,000
  • July 1, 2016 - September 30, 2016

How do you turn lemons into lemonade? Lemonade Stand will use a mobile lemonade kiosk as a vehicle to bring interactive art installations to the public throughout the city of Boston. In these collaborative pop-ups, the artists will invite the public to participate in an activity using the concept of lemons and lemonade as a means to engage in a narrative of how we can turn challenges into positives in our ordinary lives. Lemonade Stand seeks to engage the public in acts of positivity, and provide them with an unexpected experience of joy through sharing, beauty, and creative thinking.
