$2,500 The Vermont Philharmonic Orchestra has commissioned a piece by Jorge Martin to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the orchestra. His overture will be incorporated into each program in their coming season. In addition to their five concert series, free performances will be offered to the public at the Vermont State House and as part of the Montpelier First Night celebrations.
