VPL, Marlboro College, Mass MoCA and Flynn Center are supporting development and touring of Ain Gordon’s new theater work, "Not What Happened." “NWH” explores the politics of historical re-enactment -- who is remembered and who conveniently forgotten. Tour promotion will position presenters to build community partnerships (and especially with marginalized populations) around history and commemoration, and alert audiences to what is revealed and concealed in our built, natural and social landscapes. NWH will premiere in April of 2014.
