Vermont Jazz Center

The VJC Big Band performs an evening of authentic Latin dance music, with charts from the repertoire of 1950s-era bands such as Machito and Tito Puente. The ensemble will be rehearsed and conducted by leader of Boston-based Mango Blue, Alex Alvear and Berklee faculty Eguie Castrillo. The VJC Big Band is an institution of outstanding professional local Vermont musicians. This is an educational activity for the musicians and the area public.
