Ujima Collective

Ujima Collective is hosting the 11th annual African/Caribbean Celebration which is a community building event that uses music, food, arts and crafts to promote social capital through social interaction among people of African descent from various national, cultural and religious backgrounds and with other residents. In addition to the public performance, Rhumbafrica will provide audience members an interactive presentation about the influence of African music (particularly from the central Africa region) with the music of the Americas.
