With support from NEFA's Native Arts New England Grant, master basketmaker Theresa Secord (Penobscot) taught students to gather and prepare ash and sweetgrass and introduced them to alternative materials, thus ensuring the tradition will continue. The project was photo-documented and shared with the community.
