Ramona Lossie

Ramona Lossie and Theresa Secord, both respected traditional basketweavers in their communities, plan to exchange harvesting techniques. Ramona will share her knowledge of natural dyes that Theresa could harvest in Maine and incorporate into the design of her baskets. Theresa will show Ramona how to locate and harvest ash and sweetgrass, two materials that can be integrated into the rivercane basketry that Ramona produces.
