Providence Inner City Arts

Providence Inner City Arts (PICA) is presenting the Akwaaba Traditional African Drum and Dance Ensemble as a featured performance at Sound Session 2012, a recurring and vibrant world music festival that draws diverse Rhode Island audiences of all ages. They will provide an afternoon workshop for underserved youth and their families, participate in the festival street parade and will be a highlight of the evening free concert on the main stage before an audience of thousands dancing in the street.
