Providence Inner City Arts is featuring Los Pleneros del Coco, a lively Plena music ensemble from Puerto Rico, as a highlighted performance of Sound Session 2012, a recurring and vibrant world music festival that draws diverse RI audiences of all ages. There will be an afternoon workshop exploring the Plena and Bomba rhythms, an early evening intimate indoor concert and the culminating outdoor free concert before an audience of thousands dancing in the street.
