Exploring the role of art in discovering the New England landscape and inspiring environmental stewardship, sculptor Christopher Frost will create art along the New England Trail in the Connecticut River Valley, where American landscape art began with Thomas Cole. The art will engage New England Trail communities, trail volunteers and visitors in reëvaluating the significance of this 50-year old, volunteer-maintained, long-distance walking trail, newly-designated as a National Scenic Trail.
