Manchester Choral Society

In celebration of their 50th anniversary, Manchester Choral Soceity has commissioned a work by Gwyneth Walker entitled 'I've Got Some Singing to Do.' Ms. Walker will join the choral singers for final rehearsals and a workshop, and provide a pre-concert lecture for the audience when the program is performed on two occasions, May 21 and 22, 2010. Following the premiere of the commission piece, the MCS will perform Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem with full orchestra contracted from NH, VT and MA. This allows the commission piece to be written with full orchestra.
