Maine Educational Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

The Baxter School for the Deaf and the Children's Museum and Theatre of Maine are collaborating with the Maine Arts Commission and the University of Southern Maine to bring the Little Theatre of the Deaf (LTD) to southern Maine. The event, which will include two performances and two workshops is designed to foster understanding between Deaf and hearing children, and validate the cultural aspirations of Deaf children. The LTD has not performed in Maine for at least 25 years.
