Litchfield Performing Arts/Litchfield Jazz Festival

Litchfield Performing Arts is seeking funding to engage the bassist/composer/educator Avery Sharpe for a mainstage performance at the 2010 Litchfield Jazz Festival and two-week residency at Litchfield Jazz Camp. During his residency, Mr. Sharpe will compose an original piece to be performed at camp, host Q&A sessions, coach combos, lead theory classes, give bass master classes, and perform. His residency will span 15 days of instruction and four concerts for a total of over 140 hours.
