The Greater Middletown Chorale, Inc.

The Greater Middletown Chorale, under its New Choral Works Initiative, will engage Sarah Meneely-Kyder as its Composer-in-Residence to create a 2-hour oratorio "Letter from Italy, 1944: War’s End." She will involve veterans and the public in discussion of the work’s composition at the Russell Public Library, participate in private previews, Q&A’s, progress showings, receptions and work with the singers and orchestra at 3 rehearsals.The Chorale will perform 2 semi-staged concerts in Middletown (premiere) and at SCSU’s Lyman Auditorium, Hamden.
