Common Fence Music

In order to extend folk and traditional music to new audiences and to youth, Common Fence Music will present the Rumbafrica. Activities include a free afternoon youth workshop and an evening performance that includes free tickets to youth, their youth leaders, and to other individuals in need. Rumbafrica is a prime example of music and dance from the Congo in Africa. The proposed workshop and concert will broaden the exposure and appreciation of the music of Africa to youth and adults in Rhode Island.
