Boston Musica Viva (BMV) is proud of its longstanding tradition of commissioning new works for young audiences that bring together young musicians and BMV's professionals. Patrick Greene will write a new work for a joint ensemble of BMV's core musicians and the outstanding youth percussion ensemble Marimba Magic, with whom BMV has collaborated for three prior commissions. The premiere will be a part of BMV's 19th Annual Family Concert, which will include an educational demonstration and a free post-concert reception.
