The Boston Jewish Music Festival and JCC are co-presenting an exciting inter-generational concert of Pinchas and The Pig, Maurice Sendak's version of Peter and the Wolf featuring the Shirim Klezmer Orchestra. Michael will be the energetic narrator who educates and involves the audience. We will have a pre-concert mask-making program and a musical petting zoo to introduce the kids to the instruments who represent the musical characters (e.g. Tuba=pig). The next day, Michael will present a solo program of Jewish music for area seniors.
