As the Bear Clan mother for the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe, Anita Peters has assumed the role of instilling cultural pride into her people via her regalia work. The artist will use her funds to mentor three women & three children in making their own traditional regalia for powwows in Bermuda and in Mashpee.
