This year's PADS kick-off session is appropriate for both artists and arts organizations looking for different and innovative ways to use art to activate areas. Learn how other artists and organizations have worked together and utilized unique spaces and materials to create distinctive public art. We will also discuss different resources and ways to find projects and artists.  Speakers include:

Napoleon Jones-Henderson
City of Boston, Dudley Square Municipal Center (Roxbury, MA)
"Roxbury Rhapsody Mural"
Beth Galston
City of Boston (Jamaica Plain, MA)
"Serpentine Fence"

This session will also feature CreativeGround, NEFA's directory of New England's artists and creative enterprises. Participants will learn how CreativeGround can help increase visibility and connections with other artists and organizations. Bring your laptop and create or update a profile during the session!

As with every PADS, there will be time for networking.
