NATIVE AMERICAN ARTISTS & THE FIELD OF FOLKLORE
Exploring Commonalities & New Ideas
NEFA's Native Arts program is hosting a convening of Native American artists and regional folklorists to discuss ways in which our work and our projects intersect. This will be an opportunity to:
- connect and share ideas with folklorists and Native artists in New England.
- discuss current issues related to tradition, folk and traditional arts, contemporary arts expressions, a continuum of native artistic practices, etc.
- gain understanding of each other as resources, develop understanding of other approaches to our work, and possibly create new ideas for collaboration.
