Same but Different is a collaboration between Christal Brown and Lida Winfield, exploring their similarities and differences in a cultural commentary on race, age, and gender. Same but Different includes a prerecorded performance, workshop and an artist talk with the collaborators and the project will be presented by SCDT over the weekend of Oct 22-24, 2021. The project will be a hybrid of live and online events offered to the public, working between 33 Hawley Street in Northampton Ma and over zoom. SCDT will coordinate with the Five College Dance Department and The Dance Complex in Boston, with separate workshops to be scheduled at these venues to create more impact with the presentations.
