Common Fence Music presents Kera Washington of Zili Misik to teach three sessions in the Common Fence Music Connecting the Beats Drumming Program at the Boys and Girls Club of Newport, Rhode Island. She will also present an interactive performance at the Portsmouth Middle School and at the Boys and Girls Club Camp Grosvenor. The workshops and performances are a part of Common Fence Music's on-going outreach to underserved youth in Newport County. CFM has had wonderful success with Kera Washington in her past work with Newport County youth as she spreads knowledge and enthusiasm for the music of the African Diaspora. Kera Washington with Zili Misik is a very appreciated artist in our program.
