Public Art Discussion Series

FIFTH SESSION TOPIC:
Public Art Panel at Rhode Island State Council on the Arts

A day of public art presentations, discussion, networking and sight-seeing!

NEFA invites you to observe a public art panel in action at Rhode Island State Council on the Arts. Finalists for the Block Island State Airport RFQ will present their proposals to a panel on May 29th. Finalists include: Marilyn Bogdanffy, Cindy Kelly and Mela Lyman. Click here to access the RFQ.

What would a Public Art Discussion Series be without networking? After the presentations, you are invited to stay for lunch (food is available for purchase in RISCA's cafeteria) to discuss and get to know each other!

We welcome you to join Elizabeth Keithline, RISCA's Director of Public Art and Project Grants for Organizations, for a brief walking tour of Rhode Island's Convention Center after lunch. The Convention Center is a 10 minute walk from One Capitol Hill and the site of many public art projects. To learn more, check out RISCA's public art directory.

This session in presented in partnership with Rhode Island State Council on the Arts. The Public Art Discussion Series is sponsored by NEFA’s Fund for the Arts with generous support from Anonymous.
