Rural communities have vibrant arts and culture that can be under the radar. Join representatives from the New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA) for a presentation on CreativeGround, NEFA's free directory of New England artists, cultural nonprofits, and creative businesses. This workshop will explore ways that you can use CreativeGround to grow and show your creative network online as well as access powerful resources through NEFA’s performing arts grant programs like New England States Touring (NEST), New England Dance Fund, and the brand new Public Art Learning Fund.
In addition, you’ll learn how to use CreativeGround to:
- Create a free public profile and promote yourself or your New England enterprise's activities, connections, and services to a broad audience.
- Find potential collaborators and resources in the New England creative community using the Search and Explore functions.
- Explore and quantify the creative spaces, enterprises, and artists at work in your community.
Professional artists and creatives, cultural nonprofit staff, creative businesses and those who want to connect with them might find the content of this information session to be particularly useful.
