Creative City Info Sessions and Office Hours

 

I am excited to announce a series of grant info sessions focusing on Creative City, a three-year pilot that makes grants to Boston area artists to create works that integrate public participation.

Artists who reside within route 495 in Massachusetts and are interested in reimagining places for art, engaging public imagination and inspiring community members to share in civic experiences in the public realm in Boston are encouraged to apply and attend an info session. Read more »

It’s time to start planning the next iteration of NEFA's biennial regional creative economy convening, the Creative Communities Exchange! Prior events have traveled around the region to Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire, and we hope it will take place in Connecticut in June of 2017.

June AFTA convention is around the corner

The Americans for the Arts convention is coming to Boston in June! NEFA has been hard at work to encourage regional participation in this annual conference.

We have awarded 11 scholarships to the main conference to arts leaders from Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont, and 15 scholarships to the public art pre-conference to constituents in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
