Quantifying the number of people served is always another good factoid to support arts funding and/or programs. In addition, it's always good to have several compelling human interest stories about individuals who have been transformed by the arts. It's not a number, but the human element has to be raised along with the financial impact of the arts. After all, the arts help us connect and grow as human beings which is getting harder to do in these impersonal technological times....
