Presentation Grants

Presentation Grants are made to presenters and support up to 50% of the artistic fee per engagement of projects selected for NDP Touring Awards.

Performing arts presenters and other nonprofit organizations may apply for Presentation Grants after contacting a funded project's tour coordinator listed in the NDP Awards Booklet and receiving an invitation to submit an application from NEFA.

 

Eligibility

• U.S. performing arts presenters with nonprofit status and nonprofit organizations may apply.
• There is no limit to the number of NDP Presentation Grants a presenter may receive.
• Presenters in receipt of FUSED funding cannot receive an NDP Presentation Grant for the same project.

   

Funding Criteria

• Engagements must include at least one public performance
• Tours must include at least three presenters from at least two states

 

 

 

General Process & Deadline

The Touring grant selection process is divided into two stages:

STAGE 1

• September 2010–February 2011: Touring Awards announced; performing arts presenters (and other nonprofit organizations) review and contact tour coordinators to engage in planning and negotiation.
• March 1, 2011: Deadline for Presenters to solidify negotiations with tour coordinators via letters of intent; tour coordinators submit working tour plans to NEFA.

STAGE 2

• April 1, 2011: NDP Presentation Grants application deadline; tour coordinators submit final tour plans to NEFA.
• May 2011: NDP Presentation Grant recipients announced.

2. Already have a CultureCount user account? Click on the orange button below to access any active NEFA application and evaluation forms.

3. Sign in with your CultureCount username and password.
4. Confirm that the applicant is listed with your username.*
   * If the applicant is incorrect or not listed, see FAQ #1 on the Online Grant Process page.
5. Select the National Dance Project Presentation Grant Application form to begin.
