Expeditions

Expeditions provides support to nonprofit organizations in New England for the tour planning or touring of performing artists from around the world.

Program Goals

  • Support New England as a region which nurtures the planning and implementation of arts projects involving New England, national, and international artists for region-wide touring.
  • Broaden the range of arts projects and activities available to New England communities.
  • Encourage thorough planning with communities to provide meaningful interaction with artists.
  • Stimulate opportunities for collaboration and partnerships in arts touring and presenting.

The Idea Swap is an annual event that provides opportunities for New England-based nonprofit presenting organizations to network and share project ideas that may qualify for funding from Expeditions.
