Next Stage Arts Project

Next Stage Arts will present Ize Trio, a powerhouse trio featuring Piano, Cello, and Percussion, breaking boundaries in Jazz, Classical, and Folkoric traditions from the middle east. Seeking new sounds of inclusion and Global Jazz; Chase Morin, Naseem Alatrash, and George Lernis are creating dynamic, energetic, and surprising compositions in order to tell stories from all around the world and bring the world of improvisation and spontaneous musical communication to the stage.
Next Stage has worked with Chase, Naseem, and George individually and as a group multiple times over the past five years, and over time the musicians have built a strong audience of appreciators and return audiences. Bringing Ize Trio back for a performance is certain to bring in audience members from across the region to experience the trio’s new work. Ize Trio will also offer a free public music panel and afternoon workshop, in which they’ll share their background and skills with interested participants.
