Postponed from 2020, the world premiere of Piti Theater Company's "Hawai'i Five-G: Canary in the Gold Mine" will be streamed for 3 performances, followed by live post-show discussions each night where audiences, experts, local stakeholders and the artists can engage in dynamic civic dialogue. To make this show, performer Jonathan Mirin has raided his son’s Lego stash and is creating a series of appropriately tiny parodies of "Hawaii Five-O" sets, all with the goal of transforming what could be a dry but earnest public health lecture on the dangers of 5G to the growing numbers of those diagnosed with electro-sensitivity, into a vibrant web event, accompanied by a virtual lobby display.
