HartBeat will present Rumble in the Theater, a new work written and performed by NY-based theater artist Marilyn Torres for five live-streamed performances at the Carriage House Theater in Hartford, CT on October 21-24, 2021. Performances are scheduled for Thursday-Saturday at 7:30pm and a special student matinee on Friday at 2:00pm. Rumble in the Theater examines the gap between the underserved and the institution of the American Theater. It dares us to have a real conversation about racism, gender, opportunity and history about people that are not heard or seen on the Great White Way and in the world at large.
